holy ****!!!!
presentation is everything. Main menu, okay funny screamin guy and a shark. start game. okay, move, jump, AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
Lesser mean have wet themselves at surprises like that. Bravo.
Nothing says fear like a bloody eyed 30-foot tall mouth gnashing its way towards you with tireless ferocity. while peaceful relaxing beach tunes play in the background.
Oh, and the game's fun enough to warrant some good replay value, too. I appreciate that.
Nice work. Simple, cleanly made, entertaining.
HAHAHA, glad you like it so much man! :D

good design speaks for itself
this game was fun, simply put. being able to push asteroids around to smash enemies was a nice touch, and having to use it for a boss was great. Keeping a reasonable limit on powerups keeps the game from becoming a "clean sweep" where you just sweep the screen and mow down everything. having to choose when to pick up powerups at the expense of shield was a great layer of strategy. The challenge didn't get out of hand too quickly, but it did increase steadily, to my liking. I want a sequal, with more corridors, more enemy types, and a variety of weapons to powerup and choose from. Bullet mazing bosses are cool too, when kept in moderation. I would have liked to see the bosses pull out more patterns when their shields came back up, instead of returning to their original routine. That would make each boss unique, progressively more challenging, and non-repetitive. Do this again, but do it BIGGER.

there's hope for games yet
when i see thousands of flashy garbage games, i hang my head in dismay at the future of gaming. then an unassuming, straightforward little title peeks out from underneath the trash and goes "hi. try me?" And it turns out it's something priceless. Simple controls, great pacing and acceleration, fitting music, good atmosphere, and the surprises kept gradually revealing themselves over time.
glass windows? do I just THUD. damn.
whats the thing that just dropped? OHSHBOOM. damn.
why's that building crackedAAAAAAAAH. damn.
great moments that I laughed at immediately after.
Excellent work man; for a five day project, you definitely got your priorities right. Looking forward to your future works. Just remember what made this game fun when you're making future games, and you'll be epic, guaranteed.

simple, but entertaining
I like the way this kinda has a little bounce, but mostly an aggressive stance to it. I could see this in some kinda futuristic high-speed car-combat game, just off the top of my head. For s short loop, it works well by itself, and I could see it used for a lot of things. Good clean work man. Kudos indeed.

a little variety goes a long way
the tagline says it all, because just a bit of variation is all it takes to turn a simple melody into an enduring impression. The track has a good flow, building to a climax, hitting the high point, then outro. Good flow indeed. Good mix of sounds, they blend well; the bass has a good pulse to it, and the melody kinda dances around it. It all works well together, and I say it's quite bumpin'. Bring us more! We must have more!

something to dance to.
I like it. It's got a little bounce to it, but also a smooth tune, and it doesn't destroy the original sound like some BAD remixes do. Just needs a little more variety for the second cycle and it'll be solid gold.

OMFG! CALLED IT!
ahhhh, the good times of physics'defying zaniness. good times. Gotta love the cartoony feel from start to finish. Nice work.
Also, soon as the spy walks in on the new baby, before the purple hand even popped up, I just knew. It COULDN'T have been anything else. Hate that little dragon.
Comic relief rarely lives up to the phrase. Congrats.
